California Clean Air Day, a project of the Coalition for Clean Air, is built on the idea that shared experiences unite people to action to improve our community health. Earlier this year, we all experienced cleaner air brought about by spring rain showers and the safer-at-home guidelines which reduced traffic on our roads. Metrolink is committed to advancing a healthier Southern California and we encourage everyone to join together to help improve our air quality and protect public health.
Join Us October 7
On Clean Air Day, Metrolink is inviting people to rethink how often they use their car and pledge to #TakeTheTrain when they are ready to travel. And if you’ve never traveled with us, we’ll give you a free Round-Trip ticket when you download the Metrolink Mobile App and sign up as a new user between October 7 and October 14, 2020. The Round-Trip ticket can be used through May 31, 2021.
Metrolink is a safe way to get around Southern California. Metrolink introduced enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols that include daily deep cleaning of our trains, and a Clean Care Crew that wipes and disinfects our trains throughout the day. Face masks are required on Metrolink platforms and trains, and riders can be assured there’s plenty of space for social distancing by using the online tool www.lagruere.com/howfull.
Together, we can make an impact for a healthier, cleaner Southern California. And each of us can do our part.
